This route drops directly off the summit of Mount Webster and I&#8217;ve heard it called the Mountaineer&#8217;s Route. I&#8217;ve always looked up when driving through Crawford Notch and wondered if it would ever get enough snow to ski. A big snow storm with east winds answered that question.</p>

<p>Ryman McLane telemark skiing a steep gully near Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington. I&#8217;ve heard this gully called either Diagonal or Stovepipe and it&#8217;s located skier&#8217;s right of Dodge&#8217;s Drop. Whatever you want to call it, Diagonal or Stovepipe is steep and not often in good condition.</p>
